Well, I was a little excited, as this was only my second USCF rated tournament, and I wanted to make sure I got a good rating. I was discouraged to find myself in a room with mostly little kids, since both the high school and middle school sections had to be combined. I was even more discouraged to find out that I was playing a little sixth grader! Oh well, I was still determined to play my best.
