FORMAT:

5-Round Swiss System; USCF Rated; One game per week (November 10th, 17th; skip 11/24; December 1st, 8th and 15th .

SECTIONS:

Open and Reserve (Under 1500) (must combine if < 6 entries per section)

TIME CONTROLS (TC):

All games start at 7:00PM; First TC - 30 Moves in 60 Minutes; Second TC - Game/30 Minutes

REGISTRATION:

On-site November 10th by 6:45pm. Notify Tournament Director if BYE requested for later rounds

ENTRY FEE:

$10.00 Entry Fee and Current Huntsville Chess Club Membership $10.00/year

PRIZES:

First/Second/Scholastic Place Trophies Each Section (prizes awarded even if sections combined)

DIRECTIONS:

Grace Lutheran School is located on the east side of South Memorial Parkway between Drake Ave. and Airport Road. We are directly across the street from Joe W. Davis Stadium and the Hollywood 18 movie theaters.

From North Huntsville or Madison

1. Head south on Memorial Parkway (Highway 231/431) and exit at Airport Road.
2. Stay in the left lane on the access road and use the U-turn under the Airport Road overpass.
3. Proceed north on the access road, merging to the right lane, approx. one mile and turn right into the Grace Lutheran Parking lot.

From South Huntsville

1. Head north on Memorial Parkway (Highway 231/431) and take the first Drake Ave. exit.
2. Proceed north on the access road, merging to the right lane, approx. one mile and turn right into the Grace Lutheran Parking lot.

Park in Grace Lutheran lot between the school and church and look for "Chess" signs.
