DIRECTIONS: From I-565 take Sparkman Drive Exit; Turn North on Sparkman ~1.5 miles, turn right at traffic light into Bevill Center (adjoins to UAH Campus).
FORMAT: Three sections; OPEN (Open to all), RESERVE (Under 1600) and NOVICE (Under 1200), five round Swiss System. 3 games Saturday, 2 games Sunday.
TIME CONTROL: OPEN, RESERVE and NOVICE - 40 moves in 90 minutes no delay (40/85 with 5 second delay) then SD/30 minutes (no delay).
REGISTRATION: All Sections: Advanced entry - must be received no later than 9/30/08- all must check-in on 10/4; On-site entry Saturday October 4th 8:00 to 9:30 am; See Entry Fee below for fees.
ROUND TIMES: OPEN, RESERVE and NOVICE - Saturday 10:00am, 2:30pm, 7:00pm; Sunday 9:30am, 2:30pm.
PRIZES: OPEN - 1st $350, 2nd $200, 3rd $150, 1st A $100, 2nd A $75, 1st B $100, 2nd B $75
RESERVE - 1st $300, 2nd $175, 3rd $125, 1st D $100, 2nd D $75, 3rd D $50
NOVICE (Under 1200) - 1st $150, 2nd $75, 3rd $50, Top F $50, 1st Unrated $30, 2nd Unrated $25.
