Format: |
Individual
and team competition in four sections: High School (K-12), Junior High (K-9),
Elementary (K-6), and Primary (K-3). Pairings will be “team blind.” Sections
may be merged if turnout is low. In each section, all players who list the
same school are on the same team. Teams shall be based upon a school or club,
and shall be comprised of up to seven players. The top four final scores from
each team count toward the team trophies. |

Membership
in the United States Chess Federation (USCF). |

Directions: |
From
I-65, take the I-565 East/AL-20 exit, Exit 340 toward Huntsville for 18.5
miles. Take the US-231 South/US-431 South Memorial Parkway exit, Exit 19A and
merge onto US-231 (Memorial Parkway). After 6.1 miles, turn left (East) onto
Weatherly Road. After 1.1 miles, turn right (South) onto Cannstatt Drive.
Weatherly Elementary School will be on the right. Park in the lot immediately
following the horseshoe drive. |
