Monday Meeting Nights

On the last Monday of each month, an HCC member presents a lecture on a chess opening of their choice. The lecture presents the critical position(s) for the opening variation. The opening becomes the starting point in the following month's opening theme quads.

On the first Monday of each month, HCC conducts an opening theme quad tournament based on the previous month's chess opening lecture. Each of three quad games starts from a critical position defined during the previous month's lecture. An analysis session of games follow the quads.
