Problems from Real Games:
Some important notes for chess problem solvers:

Diagram positions like the one on the right are displayed with the white side of the board on the bottom. So, if a white pawn is near the top of the diagram, then that pawn is close to promoting on its eighth rank.

Please read the caption below each diagram on the right before you try to solve the problem. These captions present necessary background information about each position.

Solutions and hints are often provided in simple algebraic notation.
The tactics vary from easy to tough just as you might encounter over the board. They are real tactics that randomly vary in difficulty just as you might encounter in real games.
